This is a 8x10 glossy publicity photo from - according to the text under the image 1940, signed by Patricia Morison. It is a VINTAGE photo, and was signed for me about 20 years ago.  This  picture was probably taken at the front door of her home. For those who read the text on the back: "pulchritudinous" means "beautiful. Photo is in really nice shape. There's a small pinhole in the top white border. There's a small bend in the lower left corner and a couple of very small random dings. Details are seen in my photo of the back of Ms. Morison's photo. 

Ms. Morison was "Lily Vanessi" in the original Broadway production KISS ME KATE, and toured for years with Yul Brynner in THE KING AND I. (She is considered a Broadway legend)  In films, she is known for her appearance in the films -Sherlock Holmes Dressed to Kill, The Fallen Sparrow (with John Garfield), Without Love (with Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn), Danger Woman, The Song of Bernadette, and Queen of the Amazons. Television appearances include: Have Gun Will Travel, Screen Directors Playhouse, Four Star Playhouse, Lux Video Theatre, etc.  And performed for years in the theatre. Ms. Morison passed away at age 103 in 2018. Her signature is very lovely - distinctive and consistent over the years.
