Range Rover P38 MKII

EAS Air Suspension Compressor Piston Ring Seal & Oring Kit & Replacement Air Inlet Pads

which fits all Models of the Range Rover P38 From 1994 to 2002.

and also the Late Range Rover Classic Models with air suspension.

These are the common signs of a worn piston seal in your EAS Pump

1, Your pump is running more often than usual,

2,Your suspension takes a while to fully rise,

3,Due to overworking of the pump the system has gone into fault mode,

If you were to take your car to a dealer with this fault then they would almost certainly diagnose a new pump at a considerable cost but in most cases this is very rarely required as long as your pump cylinder lining is not badly scored or damaged.

Instead of a replacement compressor unit just replace the Teflon seal (Piston Ring). Very minimal Mechanical skills are needed to achieve

this task and as long as you take care and pay attention to how you disassemble the pump you should be able to carry out this job in about 1 hour no specialist tools are required.

Some instructions are provided and we will also provide a link to a video tutorial on the DIY procedure being carried out.

ANTI VIBRATION MOUNTINGS.

Will fit all models inThe p38 range from1994-2002

Anti Viberation mounts are very often overlooked but should be checked on a regular basis at least every 12 months. Reason these do fail is because of the extreme heat created in the p38s engine bay the rubber breaks down and becomes brittle.

When they do go you may notice a vibration through out the car which in some cases can be quite harsh. Another reason to change these is worn anti vibration mounts can and do cause the compressor to run uneven which will contribute towards compressor wear so they really are important to keep in good order.
