Shim washers are manufactured to precise dimensions and are used to take up excess gaps in assemblies. They are particularly useful for taking up excess space in bearing assemblies where they are fitted over shafts.

Shims on this listing are all manufactured from steel with a plain finish and conform with DIN 988 standards.

On this listing I have various sizes in different thicknesses - 0.1mm, 0.25mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 1.0mm. These can be used together to create the correct size shim, for example, if you needed a 0.6mm shim you could use a 0.5mm and 0.1mm shim together to achieve this.
