Stunning oversized Georgian Style mahogany buffet. Made by David Zork Co., a Chicago company active from 1914 to 1957. This piece was made in their early years. Located on Michigan Avenue, Zork supplied Chicago's elite with French and English antiques, period style reproductions and tapestries. This piece is a reproduction of a Georgian buffet, with dark, richly patterned veneers and spade-style feet. Heavy oak secondary wood, in the English manner. Beautifully crafted, inside and out. From a multi-generational Chicago North Shore estate. The top drawers have dividers for flatware, but are removable. Please note the measurements as this is a large piece.

Avenue, Chicago Illinois David Zork worked as a salesman and general
manager for several Chicago-area furniture companies before he founded
his own company in 1914. The Zork Manufacturing Co. made reproductions
of antique furniture. Zork stayed in business until he died in 1957.
In exceptional original condition. The top has some minor indications of wear, and one lighter spot (likely caused by heat or damp), but very minimal - no serious or easily noticeable issues. No nicks, dings, breaks or repairs.
Measurements: 7' wide. 20" deep at the small indent at either end, 26.5" deep at the center. It stands 26.25" tall. The space on either side from the floor to the underside of the drawers is appx. 19". The space at the center from floor to underside of the skirt is 26.25". The top is 1.25" thick.
