This listing is for a customized Riddell VSR4 Georgia Bulldog mini helmet. The style of this helmet was exactly as the "Dawgs wore in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. In 1971, Vince Dooley began awarding helmet award stars to the players for individual efforts as well as team accomplishments. The stars continued until the arrival of Mark Richt in 2001. Every year, minus 1995, Georgia awarded these stars.

However, this listing if for a Georgia Throwback helmet with AWARD STARS...so pick a player from 1971 to 2001. I will try to research the player and find the exact details for the helmet, but feel more than happy to share any pictures you have to help build the final replica as close to on-the-field ready as possible. 1) The base helmet with the face mask shown in main pictures - with stars and all the decals...and standard facemask YOU GET HELMET WITH STANDARD 2-BAR MASK)

OR

2) The base helmet with upgraded facemask for running back (like the Herschel Walker) or defensive lineman, single bar - 2 weeks to build facemask is standard. If you choose this option, we will work together to choose mask of your selected player. The masks are all iron and welded to custom order with 15-18 styles to select from. They take several weeks to get to me from order time of mask. The mask are between $30-50 typically when I purchase them, hence the extra cost with this option.

If you pick an upgraded face mask, the build will take slightly longer. Primer coats and paint coats then shipping to me... face mask of your choice in about 2-3 weeks. Will mail to you after your purchase. I will send you samples to approve style of face mask if desired.   I WILL ORDER FACE MASK, HAVE IT SHIPPED TO ME, INSTALL AND THEN SHIP OUT TO YOU. Either way, you can have the face mask you desire. Your choice.
