This is for one bar of our handmade SPA Sulphur Mineral Soaps, made with Natural SPA Sulphur Mineral waters from the local hot springs. For hundreds of years, people have used these natural hot springs for health purposes. Many Indian tribes came to use these mineral waters to heal their sick. The chemistry of these mineral waters has frequently been praised and often compared to the Baden-Baden, a famous Spa in Germany, and it is said that these mineral waters are far superior. We have chilled the SPA Sulphur Mineral water, to remove the sulphur aroma, and used the water to make our Special SPA Sulphur Mineral Soap. We've used the finest oils in our homemade soaps which are then fragranced with high end fragrance and essential oils. These SPA Sulphur Mineral Soaps are named for local areas in Montana, and they can also be private labeled for your special needs.

Sulphur has been used to treat skin for some 500 years to combat conditions including acne, fungal infections, psoriasis, scabies and eczema. Sulphur was often the active agent in many of the so-called 'patent medicines' that became popular in the mid-19th century. Sulphur in soap works to break down the composition of whiteheads and blackheads. Used as a topical treatment in soaps sulphur may ease the inflammation and itching of some skin disorders. Though there is no cure for rosacea, the symptoms can be controlled to some extent by using soap bars that are made from sulphur. Dermatologists also suggest the use of sulphur soap for scabies. Scabies is a parasitic skin infection caused by microscopic mites. It can spread through person-to-person contact. The symptoms of scabies include severe itching and skin rashes. Most anti-scabies medications use sulphur as an ingredient. Sulphur kills these mites and the use of sulphur-based skin care products help in successful treatment of scabies. It has been seen that six weeks of application of the soap is required for the scabies rash to heal.

Custer is a Sweet Grass fragrance with the ozony aroma of fresh cut grass, clover, with a hint of wisteria.

Custer is a friendly town along the Yellowstone River, where visitors can enjoy agate hunting, fishing and rustic Boothill Cemetery. Nearby, at the junction of the Bighorn and Yellowstone rivers, is the site of Fort Manuel Lisa, the first building in Montana built by white men.

This community bears the name of U.S. Army General George Armstrong Custer who was defeated and killed at the Battle of Little Big Horn, which took place nearby in 1876.

Made in small batches with rich oils and our local SPA Sulphur Mineral water, cold process soaps are then cured to make our soaps the best handmade soaps around. Cured soaps weigh approximately 4.5 to 5 ounces each. We proudly display the Made in Montana sticker on our soaps.
