Nano Silk strength means it can cut through fine or hollow fibres or materials like foam, however if used flat or untwisted and lay 2 lose wraps before tightening down it is easy to avoid cutting materials. Finally make sure to use old scissors a craft blade or a sliding action with your scissors as cutting is a sure way to blunt your scissor blades because of its astounding strength
