A Beautiful Pair of Genuine Silver Antique Omani Bracelets/Anklets c. 1850-1900

These stunningly different hollow hammered silver ‘C’ form bracelets were originally used for dancing in Oman in the late 19th Century.

They are incised bracelets/anklets with prominent serrations or lobes and punched with geometric patterns.

They have always contained tiny pebbles, which you can hear when you shake them.

The bracelets, known as “Kamar” or “Sanka” are of a type that was made by the Baluchi people of the Muscat and Muttrah region of Oman.

They are really quite rare and so will suit as an outstanding present for the love of your life.
