Stunning original Edwardian wedding dress made and sold in 1919 by O'connor Moffat & Co. in San Francisco California.  Comprised of crepe silk and silk satin it has an ethereal or angelic look  The dress is in amazing condition as you can see in the photograph and description of it's condition as stated above... I wrote a lot about the dress in the "conditions" section that should be in this part so please make sure to read that.  I did a lot of research on this dress and the Company.  In the mid 1920's O'Connor Moffat and Co. opened it's doors to a new department store that was to be epic at the time as it took up a large percentage of the city's square block.  All of this to be done and the day after it's opening it was sold to William H. Macy and was renamed Macy's West.  I believe this is the exact dress that was featured in the Metropolitan Museum and the reason for this is largely due to the condition of the silk chiffon and the garment as a whole.  A dress made of these fabrics in 1919 would have deteriorated in many areas especially the shoulders as they wear holes from being on hangers.  This dress was not on a hanger much as it was on a dress form in the museum.  I have many more photographs of this dress if you message me I will send you more.  This is not only a very wearable and stunning piece of American history but the exact display that it was on was to show the large asian influence in 1920's wedding dress and other garments of that time.  I have touched all types of fabrics and I can honestly say that the silk satin part of this dress has the most buttery, soft and sleek feel to it, far surpassing any other silk satin I've touched from era's before, after and during when this dress was made and sold.  If you search "O'Connor Moffat and Co dresses" or garments and choose the image option you will not find any garment of the company's other than this wedding dress, and it is on there a lot as people have pinned it on pintrest from photos from the MET Museum site, however the link no longer works.  "Glory Daze" which is a well known for their knowledge of Vintage fashion actually features this dress so if you navigate there that is also a way of authenticating it's link with The Met.  For extra measurements or photos or questions please don't hesitate to contact me.  If you are purchasing for resale, given the quality, age, textiles and this dress' history, I have had it appraised and it was between $20,000 to limitless price range b/c of all the qualities listed above.  This was made as a wedding dress but could easily be worn as just a dress as well, this is a head turner.  Buying this, wearing this, owning this is owning a great piece of Americana History.  Measurements are as follows:

Length (shoulder to the longest piece of draped fabric and may be an inch or two longer) 51"
Waist-18"
Arm length (to the longest piece of chiffon) 23"
Bust- 21.5"
