Where Does It Come From?

Originally from Melanesia and Polynesia it is nowadays produced in tropical countries, especially in Guadeloupe, Martinique and Guyana.

Its bark is smooth and greenish white and the fruits come out in grapes.

The flowers are small and white.

The fruit is often compared to a mango, around 7cm length.

Its thick skin is originally green and takes a yellow-orange colour when the fruit becomes mature.
