Paper weight is based on grams per square metre, normally abbreviated to GSM or g/m2. 

GSM is the weight of the paper or card, not the thickness. 

Please note that Card is normally defined from 160gsm (thin card) to 350gsm (thick card). 

Printing Papers & Card may be thinner than bulky craft card as they have been

 compressed during the manufacturing process to ensure good printing results. 
 
Please refer to your equipment specifications to establish the 

maximum recommended weight.

UK Mainland (Highlands, the Islands or the Isles) there is now unfortunately an additional postal 

cost to send orders that are heavier than 2kg.
