Rare Victorian Antique Sterling Silver Flat Handled Master Butter Knife.

Made by the Eagle Sterling Co, Glastonbury, CT c.1894-1904

Marked with two wings over an anchor...STERLING...925/1000

The knife measures 7” L.

The pattern has feathery scrolls surrounding the handle and continuing onto the blade with graduating dots/beads down the middle of the handle. The handle has a little bend. The bend seems to be due to it’s hand wrought nature rather than a flaw.

The knife is in very good antique condition with hairline scratches throughout (typical of a well used piece of this age). It does have one pin head size ding on the underside of blade (see pictures).
