This is a most angelic and graceful-looking diamond ring. The square crown is entirely-encrusted with natural, earth-mined round brilliant cut diamonds, weighing a total of 1.05 carat. Due to the ingenious design and use of the stones in this ring, it certainly appears to contain very much in excess of 1.05 carat-weight of diamonds.
These diamonds are of colourless, rare white colour G, which means that they are beautifully whites stone and this is an excellent colour-grade.
They are of very good VS2 clarity, so they are particularly transparent diamonds - totally clean to the naked eye. (Please see chart below for further information on colour and clarity).
All that can be seen, is an ethereal, glittering wall of diamonds. The effect is very much like a pool of sparkling water. Around the outer edge of the cluster, is a row of round brilliant cut diamonds. These stones are claw-set, side-by-side, without any gaps between them. The finishing touch is given by the shoulder diamonds, which are also round brilliant cuts. The square cluster of diamonds in this impressive ring measures slightly over 11mm x 11mm.
The ring is well-made of 9ct white gold, to best complement the whiteness of the diamonds. The ring is currently a UK size N (USA size 7), but could be re-sized to fit, if necessary (subject to surcharge). Alternatively, other sizes can be made to order without surcharge (although please allow about 2 weeks for this). It will come in a good quality ring presentation box.
Appraisal certificates will be supplied, valuing the ring at £2,550 for replacement purposes.
