Perfect for a chair accent or a small throw.  It does have the diamond edging so it's not a flat edge like most afghans which makes it almost appear as flames.  Vivid burnt orange and brown.  Perfect for 1960s or 1970's and older decor styles.  

This is washable on delicate and air dry.  But I wouldn't wash it too often since it's handmade.
