The FIRST release for 2020 features the iconic rock band, Queen, with a design approved by Roger Taylor and Brian May. There is a limited edition presentation of 7,500 available.

The classic Queen line-up consisted of Brian May on guitar, John Deacon on bass, Roger Taylor on drums and the legendary Freddie Mercury as the lead singer and multi-instrumentalist.

Their names – MERCURY – MAY – TAYLOR – DEACON – are also inscribed along the coin’s edge.

This one-ounce silver release also incorporates elements of color and is the ONLY coin in the series to do so.

Not only is this coin the first of the series, but it’s also the first time that a rock-and-roll band has ever been featured on a legal-tender coin from the United Kingdom!
