  • KIEV 303 Vintage Subminiature Spy Film Camera (black) (USSR) NICE. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Kiev-303 is a miniature scale camera manufactured at the Kiev plant "Arsenal" since 1990. It was a restyled modification of the "Kiev-30" camera with a changed appearance and other exposure values.

1. Technical data
Curtain shutter with horizontal movement of metal shutters. Located in front of the lens. The shutter has a constant slit, the shutter speed is regulated by changing the shutter speed. Compared to the Kiev-30 camera, the shutter speeds have been changed - 1/30, 1/60, 1/125 and 1/250 seconds; a fourth shutter speed is added. When cocked, a red mark is visible on the shutter. Setting of shutter speeds - by a ring brought out to the side wall of the chamber.
The camera uses 16-mm non-perforated or perforated photographic or cinematographic film in a plastic cassette from a Vega-2 camera, which looks like a 110-type cassette. The cassette is designed for 25 frames with a size of 13 × 17 mm. Film rewinding is not possible. It is possible to change the cassette at any time, while only a small part of the film, about 20 mm, was exposed.
There is no sync contact.
The camera was supplied with a soft case and a lanyard. The kit included a disk for the single-spiral photo tank, which was most widespread in those years, and a frame-insert for a photo enlarger.
The diaphragm is two-blade, with a square aperture. Control - a ring brought out to the side wall of the chamber.
Lens "Industar-M", coated, relative aperture 1: 3.5, focal length 23 mm.
The inner casing is metal, similar to the casing of the Kiev-30 camera. The inner opaque housing contains a lens, a shutter, a film rewind mechanism. The viewfinder is located in an external removable plastic casing; in the transport position, the casing covers the shutter release button, shutter, lens and focusing ring. The shutter is cocked and the film is rewound by pushing-out the inner camera body into the casing.
The viewfinder is frame, sighting is possible only with the cover extended.
There is no tripod socket.
The frame counter is automatic with manual setting to the initial position when loading the film.
