This set of sterling silver flatware was a wedding present that was not even used once. It is Wallace's nod to Modern design of the 1950s and 60s, and today is once again the look so many young couples want today. The slim but weighty solid silver handles blend the simplicity of elevations and textures to simulate the impression of evening mist.  Although the pattern is by Wallace, who had this pattern in their active line from 1953 to 1996, this particular set was actually made in Florence Italy, which the original tag explains, and from where the brushed texture on the handles obtained the name, Florentine. The tag is also pristine. This set is like a time capsule or snapshot preserving the fine quality Florentine Italian craftsmanship from the mid 20th Century. It contains the 51 pieces enumerated below.

8 dinner knives (Stainless blades)
8 butter knives (Stainless blades)
8 dinner forks
8 salad forks
8 teaspoons
8 oval bowl soup spoons
1 master butter knife (Stainless blade)
1 serving spoon, and 
1 gravy ladle

Each piece is monogramed with three initials, MNR. Having never been used, the set is in excellent condition. Winning bidder will receive the actual item pictured.  Please review the photos for a complete  description.

Important Shipping information: We ship via priority mail and use priority mail boxes.  We package in the highest grade materials and each piece is insured for full value, which is included in the shipping estimate. We also offer Federal Express Home Delivery, parcel post or first class mail if you ask.  We understand that shipping costs can be expensive.  We do our best to minimize the cost but if you email us before bidding or paying, we will do whatever we can to work with you.

Insurance is included in shipping cost.  
Payment is expected within 3 days of close of auction. Shipments are generally made within 2 days of receipt of payment.
