Your sign will come pre drilled and complete with screws, plastic screw covers and rawl plugs.
The slate we have chosen for our signs is of high quality and will not flake or chip any further. It is also consistently smooth which gives a uniform and even surface. The photos in our listing are of our actual finished product, the numbers laser etched onto the slate and are a natural looking matte ivory white. We glaze our signs to a satin finish which enhances the dark colouration of the slate and really makes the white lettering stand out.
Please leave a note at point of order with your house number or you can message us after checkout. You may also have your street or development name engraved in small lettering underneath. We will scale your number to best fit the sign, so please be aware that numbers with more digits or an added street name will mean smaller text.
A final note on quality: Our slate really is the highest quality available, we only use fresh slate, no reclaimed rubbish. The slate is also completely free of impurities such as iron pyrite (this can show as sparkles of gold through some poor quality slates and will rust eventually leaking rusty streaks across your sign). The finish of each sign sign will also be square and even and we don't use computer generated lettering for our images so the white text in our images is exactly what you will receive on your own sign.
