Installation tips for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7:
Once you insert this DVD Burner, Windows should detect it and say "installing driver..." Wait for "device driver successfully installed. Your new hardware is ready to use" or similar message. Then, REBOOT your laptop. Make sure you use a good quality blank CD or DVD. Use a good burning program such as "Nero" or "Roxio" burning software. Don't run any other programs while burning CD or DVD. This will avoid burning errors. This DVD BURNER has been FULLY TESTED. We are not able to provide technical help or answer questions about how to burn CD's and DVD's. So just check your steps, and please search online for help on burning or ask a friend who knows.
