*Hiroyuki Matsuura was born in Tokyo in 1964.
In his private exhibition 'Super Acrylic Skin' held at Tokyo Gallery in 2005,
He changed his career from being a designer to an artist, and since then, he has been active as an artist both in Japan and abroad, expanding the forms of his works such as paintings, sculptures, and woodblock prints.

In "THE APPLE" of this work,
Mr. Matsuura has distanced himself from the cute elements that have been seen in previous sofvi works.
He says he wanted to convey the message more directly.
The various connotations contained in the motif "apple" are:
swaying with great amplitude under strong black-and-white contrast;
It gives the appearance of a boy an incomprehensible charm.
