Booster transformer SUT-03 for high impedance monaural MC cartridge
The most distinctive feature of the SUT-03 is that it is normally manufactured in a single case with a 2-channel stereo step-up transformer, but the two transformers are completely separated and each is enclosed in a sturdy case. The aluminum alloy block is shaved to make a sturdy case, and a transformer unit is enclosed in the case and wired within the shortest distance. This case is impregnated with a high-strength, heat-curing, high-insulation, high-strength epoxy resin. The transformer case is beautifully finished with a champagne gold anodized finish that is resistant to aging and has a high quality finish. As a result, the transformer unit is hardly affected by vibration and is free from the effects of minute vibration, so that even the extremely small signal of the MC cartridge can be picked up without any excess.
SUT-03 keeps the character of the cartridge as it is, and makes it more aesthetic and rich sound. Musical performances and female vocals are especially impressive.



 The SUT-03 transformer unit uses a 100 micron thick Super Permalloy core and is wrapped with Teflon insulating paper. In addition, the transformer winding does not have a tap, and only one input/output terminal is used to suppress the deterioration of the SN ratio due to the loose terminal. SUT-03 uses a sturdy case that is hardly affected by vibration. On the back of this case, there are screws of M 2.6 in 4 corners, so you can use your favorite base by yourself. This screw hole can also be used to stop the product when it is incorporated into the amplifier. The SUT-03 compatible cartridge is designed to have an impedance of 5 ~ 40 ohms and an amplification factor of 10.

At least two grounding wires are required because the left and right grounding terminals must be wired separately. The ground wire from the player may or may not be connected to the ground terminal of the transformer case. Which is better for your system?
