Some Book Reviews:
5/5 stars - Best book for dressing well!
This book is much richer and more valuable than any other "dress for success" books in the market. I believe it to be the most comprehensive book and study available. Marilyn provides the "how" and the "why" with excellent useful information and sound advice accompanied by images, photos, and descriptions that make it easy and clear to determine what works and doesn't for each individual. Although targeted to women, much of the information is generally applicable.

5/5 stars - Breakthrough science of color, easy to understand and apply
This book is incredible in that Marilyn reveals how color impacts your daily life and how color has been misunderstood/misused for many years. She starts over from the beginning with DaVinci's original discovery of pure light broken up through a prism into the original color spectrum. She then guides you through the process of discovering what colors look best on you to coordinate your skin, hair, makeup, face, body shape, etc. It's funny, but I've always liked navy blue and that turns out to be my color! No wonder my closet is full of blues. However, my type of blue is in a certain spectrum, so I can branch out a bit to certain shades that also look good to add some variety. I have a friend with red cheeks and she wants to de-emphasize those, so she found her right colors to fade them while still highlighting her face and color. I'm a guy, so I'm not into the makeup aspect, but just knowing the clothing color has made a difference so far and I'm getting compliments on what I wear now and how good I look. I highly recommend this book. Well worth it. My wife and her friends are enjoying it, too.

5/5 stars - This is a beautiful book, inside and out!
This is a beautiful book, inside and out. I have many books on various subjects. This book rates second only to my Bibles. I haven't finished reading this yet, but I'm amazed at the author's wisdom. This should be required reading for all women. I was first captured by the cover. I love color and light. Still, I was taken aback because it is a bit pricey. After reading the reviews, I decided to order and I am so thankful that I did. Marilyn speaks to my heart, soul and spirit. I highly recommend Unlocking Your Beauty Code Its money well spent.

5/ 5 stars - Make this your first(possibly last) beauty book!
I have never written a review before or ever felt compelled, but this book has been a real mid-life changer for me! I have always been interested in fashion, decorating and color. I have most all of the other books about finding your personal style/colors...how to dress younger/smarter/better...dressing for one's inner self, have even spent wa-y-y-y too much for a personal stylist only to walk away thinking something was still missing (or even that something was wrong with me?).
I ran across this book by accident but thought I would enjoy the pics,lol...it is lovely coffee table book. I started reading it expecting the same old stuff, but what I found was real information based on science and proven principles with regards to color, light and symmetry. It is comprehensive even including charts for your best otc haircolors! This book does not try and teach you how to fit into a mold of someone that you are not, but carefully helps you to understand who you are and how to enhance that to the best of your abilities with regards to color theory, style and personality.
I am buying this book as a gift for my granddaughter to have as her "how to" book when it comes her time to shine, it also speaks about character and what is age appropriate. I really wish I had this book about 30 years ago, but am so happy to have it now! I am also purchasing one for my BF... for her next 50 years:0)

5/5 stars - Revolutionary!
Marilyn's research on color after experiencing confusion in the color industry has really created a break through
For the rest of us. What a thrill to experience our own personal prism and create that glow that comes from experimenting in our correct colors. To learn these laws and principles has set me free to create the beauty that has always been there, but now can be refined. The book is a must for learning color science.
