Ingrid St-Pierre’s Petite plage was born out of an urgent need to be, to stop hiding, to relearn about herself. Unbinded by the outside world, candid and vibrant, this record can easily be described as the artist’s most personal yet, calling on long-time friend Philippe Brault to produce. As the title suggests, St-Pierre’s poetry lays on a intimate beach, as little pieces of herself and her life surround her. Shedding light on St-Pierre’s personal and artistic journey, she pens her way through a bright, colourful record, made by and for herself.
