The Hulk! #17 1979 Magazine from Marvel Comics. Featuring the FIRST APPEARANCE of HATCHET MAN AKA SHADOWKNIGHT AKA RANDALL SPECTOR, Moon Knight's BROTHER!! Randall Spector will be the Antagonist in the upcoming Moon Knight series which will be featured on Disney+! This is arguably one of the rarest First Appearances from the Bronze Age! This magazine Features a RARE MOON KNIGHT SOLO APPEARANCE two full years before Moon Knight #1 and this also Features BILL SENKIEWICZ ART on MOON KNIGHT, far before his acclaimed run on the First Moon Knight series several years later! The $1.50 Magazine price tag was HEFTY in 1979, so there aren't a ton of these magazines around! This series follows the first 9 issues titled The Rampaging Hulk because now the Magazine's contents are entirely in Color where they had been black and white prior. This book is in GORGEOUS HIGH GRADE VF/NM 9.0! Hardly a blemish to be seen on this book except for a small rub at top of spine. I also want to mention the Amazing EARL NOREM PAINTED COVER on this book! Earl Norem is one of THE Best Cover Artists of his time... go and look him and his work up, you will be extremely impressed!

Randall Spector was a mercenary like his brother, but betrayed him and killed Lisa, Marc's then girlfriend, in Italy. Marc Spector then hunted Randall down, chasing his brother for two days and two nights until he lobbed a grenade at him, which mangled and almost killed him. When he recovered Randall killed a nurse, then began a killing spree as a serial killer who preyed on nurses. Later, Randall, after being dubbed the Hatchet-Man would be confronted by Marc,[2] and while they were fighting near a cave he lunged and was knocked into and impaled on a tree.[3] However, this was later revealed to have been an impostor,[4] as Randall returned as a member of the Cult of Khonshu, having been mystically enhanced with impenetrable skin and super-human strength by Princess Nepthys. He was then supposedly killed again by Punisher, who was hunting down the cult when he was thrown into a river.[5]
Years later, Randall was attempting to commit suicide but is saved by The Profile, who is working for The Hand, and is convinced that he is the new avatar of Khonshu. Randall dubs himself Shadowknight and attempts to get Marc's attention. First, he carries out a string of murders for Moon Knight to find him. He then attacks Moon Knight's pregnant girlfriend, Marlene, and causes a miscarriage. Marc then chases Randall to New Orleans, while Randall is looking for the Sapphire Crescent. He unmasks Shadowknight and discovers that it really was Randall, who he thought was was killed by Punisher. Randall then manages to escape while Marc is still in shock and acquires the crescent. Meanwhile, Marc makes a deal with Khonshu that he will be empowered if he kills for Khonshu. Marc finds Randall and takes the crescent from him and also manages to defeat Randall. However, many innocents in the crowd are killed and all of Marc's weapons have been discarded or broken. Randall straps a bomb to himself and threatens to destroy the block and kill even more innocents, but Moon Knight, out of options, throws the Sapphire Crescent at his throat before he can pull the trigger, which cuts Randall's magically enhanced skin and kills him, just like Marc promised Khonshu he would.
