1 Art Ceramic Pottery, Fish in Net Motif Serving / Salad Bowl, by renown artist Alexis Kostanda in Vallauris France, matt finish, putty-coffee-rose-celadon hues, 8.5" diameter x 4" high.  Weight: 2lb 10oz.  Vintage, never owned / used, created 2003.

[Note:  Each piece is original and unique handmade thrown pottery, made and signed by the renown ceramic pottery artist Alexis Kostanda, who was the son of the celebrated Ceramic artist Alexandre Kostanda.  Before opening his own studio, Alexis was a top artist at the Madoura Pottery Studio in Vallauris, where Pablo Picasso (who also studied under Alexis' father Alexandre Kostanda) learned ceramic pottery, and founded Picasso Edition Ceramics.  I personally knew Alexis when I lived in Vallauris (i.e. Cannes) France for 3 years.  Vallauris is the center for European pottery and ceramic artists.  These items were purchased and imported by me in 2005 for my Ft Lauderdale Boutique.  One week after opening my boutique, Hurricane Wilma (the most powerful hurricane ever to hit Ft. Lauderdale) killed all retail, and it was shortly followed by the Great Recession, so, these never owned pieces by Alexis have sat in my Warehouse space until now, when I have decided to sell them on EBay at prices very much under my original landed cost of purchase and transportation and importation to the USA.  Also, I have heard, that Alexis has closed his studio ten or so years ago, and is no longer producing ceramic art.]
