Norman Bertram Coleman Jr. is an American lobbyist, attorney, and politician. From 2003 to 2009 he served as a U.S. Senator for Minnesota. From 1994 to 2002 he was mayor of Saint Paul, Minnesota. First elected as a member of the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, Coleman became a Republican in 1996.
