This is an old check, dated June 10, 1968,
from
the Leonard Oil Companyin Winston-Salem,
Forsyth County, North Carolina.

The Leonard Oil Company was a Texaco distributor.

The
check is signed by three men:

(1) Walter Huey Leonard (1918-2012), who was
      the President of the Leonard Oil Company,
      and who served in the Navy during WWII;

(2) Henry Foil Craver (1921-2011), who was
     the Secretary-Treasurer of the company,
     and who served three years in the Navy
     as an inspector in an aircraft factory;

(3) A man named C. S. Cude, who worked for
     Fordham's Auto Repair Company, which
     was also located in Winston-Salem.

     I am not certain, but I believe that this man was
     either Charles Stephen Cude, Sr. (1902-1975), or
     his sonCharles Stephen Cude, Jr. (1930-1996).

The check is in the amount of $118.50

It was made out to
Fordham's Auto Repair Company.

The check is in very good condition.

The check is now enclosed in a
clear plastic sleeve, for protection.
