This calendar is from the height of the pin up art era. Pin up girl art was very popular and could be found on everything from ads, calendars and even military pilots painted them on the sides of their planes. By the 1960s the woman's rights movements had begun and these pictures started to be viewed as demeaning to women. Recently collectors have noticed the amazing art and it has come full circle to be appreciated again and very collectable.  This calendar is the 1957 Esquire Girl calendar. It has 12 amazing pin up girl pictures by artist Mike Ludlow. It is in excellent condition and I would say mint condition except for a small fold crease on the bottom left corner on the first 2 pages. It also has it storage envelope which is in good condition with light wear around the edges, no tears. Calendar measures 8 x 12 inches. Great for framing, always a conversation piece. Guaranteed to be an authentic "old" item. 7/2021
