We offer a set of standard electrolytic capacitors compatible with all SEGA Game Gear (Version 1 & 2). It allows you to replace all the capacitors of the console, motherboard, sound board and power supply.
As you know, capacitors have an average life of 25 years. The Game Gear being a 90's console, most of its capacitors are at the end of their life. It's important to replace them so that all components of the console are properly powered.
This kit allows you to refurbish your console and solve the following problems:
- Screen = display problems or no brightness (having to tilt the console to see something).
- Sound = sizzling or no sound at all.
- Console not turning on = power supply problem.
The kit includes 20 capacitors:

Here is the mounting diagram for the SEGA Game Gear Version 2. Contrary to the picture below, the 10uF capacitors you will receive will be standard capacitors and therefore easy to solder.
