Accu Fire universal electric ignition kit is a direct bolt on for 009 style distributors. Includes magnetic trigger disc, sensor module and hardware. Helps with more reliable spark and timing, and no points to wear out over time. Must be used with 3.0 ohm coil. Verify your POS+ and NEG- terminals on the coil before installation. Common issues installing electronic ignitions are: wiring it backwards, or leaving the ignition on with the engine off overnight. Both of these will cause the module to stop operating normally. Fits 12 volt 009 style distributors used in VW Type 1 Beetle, Karmann Ghia, VW Type 2 Bus, Type 3, Thing, and VW-based dune buggy, sand rail, baja bug and rail buggy. 00-9432-0
