Kingray MHW43F 43dB Masthead TV Amplifier

Kingray MHW43FS EDGE Series F Type Masthead Amplifier is a 2 Input 1 output Shielded F Type 43dB masthead amp designed to

amplify UHF signals and diplex a separate VHF signal or amplify the UHF component of a combined VHF UHF aerial with adjustable gain controls!

Kingray MHW43F Shielded F Type Masthead Amplifier.
A masthead amplifier is designed to amplify low signal levels for digital TV applications.

This high quality Australian Made product is specifically designed for rejection of the Australian LTE band. (LTE bands vary slightly from country to country)

Long Term Evolution (LTE) is the term now used by the TV industry to describe the frequency band between 700 and 800 MHz that was once use by the UHF TV channels 51 to 69

. As part of the switch to digital TV and the planned “restack” all TV transmitters operating between channels 51 and 69 will be moved to the VHF band 3 and what remains of the UHF band

(channels 28-50) It is expected 4G mobile phone operators will start using the LTE band in 2015.

There is some debate among industry experts about the impact LTE/4G services will have on existing TV services.

It is likely that TV aerial installations that include older band 5 aerials and band 5 amplifiers will suffer interference from the planned LTE/4G service hence the need for LTE rejection in mast head amps such as this product
