Revision C0 design departs from the original Pioneer AWM-091 design, that revision B0 duplicates. In the original design, the relay and protection circuit supplies were operated from the +65V regulator supply on AWR-106. AWM-091(B0) draws ~40mA from the +65V supply, imposing ~1.2W on that series pass regulator transistor.
Revision C0 is designed like our AWM-123 (SX-1280) that powers the relay and protection circuits from the available +70V(+62VU), thus eliminating the ~1.2W of heat imposed on the +65V regulator pass transistor, making it operate much cooler and increase it’s reliable.
Revision C0 replaces the older tech, lower current relay, Omron MY4-02 DC24 with a modern higher current G5RL-1A-E-TV8 DC48.

It is an improved version over the Pioneer version in a number of ways

2) BYV34X-600 ,2x20A/600V low loss fast/soft recovery rectifiers with heatsinks
3) Uses the same Omron MY relay as original for the same look or design using newer higher current Omron relays
