This type of steel is ideal for welding, folding and cutting, it may come with a thin coating of oil, or may come with the slightest of surface corrosion, but nothing that cant be rubbed off easily.

scratches and scuffs are impossible to keep off this side due to the cutting process however care will be taken to ensure scratches are not deep.
