A stunning French 1930 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze. The beautiful mounting of excellent quality holds four shades in clear frosted moulded-pressed glass by Degué. All four shades are signed. Louis Vandamme had a large manufactory producing bronze and wrought iron lighting during the interbellum in Paris (at 16 rue Popincourt). His bronze pieces are of excellent quality. The chandelier is represented in the 13th edition of the Vandamme product catalog issued in 1932.

  The chandelier is in excellent condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the mount. The chandelier has a height of 70 cm (27-1/2"). And it's 52 cm wide (20-1/2") 40 x 40 cm in square. It is rewired with American candelabra base sockets. For European countries I will place E14 ones.
