The tripod has been design for use with any of the Distos and the Linos. When measuring with the Disto over long distances or with the Pythagoras function, the user is recommended to use a tripod to achieve the maximum measuring accuracy.

The design of the tripod provides a solid design with stiffened robust legs, flat head and crank drive to raise or lower the tripods telescope column.
