Save with FREE SHIPPING!!! This is for a 3D printed On30 scale 6' coal/wood tender car kit. Black tender body with an oxide red frame. Brand new. Parts usually need a little light sanding and/or filing in spots. Use as-is or prime and paint as you wish. Add your own details (ladders, brake wheels and gear, etc) for a very unique car.

Designed as a coal/wood fuel car for the Bachmann On30 0-4-0 Porter tank steamers, this cool little tender would look great behind any loco needing a little extra fuel capacity.

Trucks and couplers are NOT INCLUDED. Pics shown with the log truck is for illustrative purposes only. You can either glue (preferred) or screw the truck to the center bolster. ALWAYS pre-drill the holes for the truck screws and DO NOT overtighten. 

Included is our 6ft car underframe which will allow you to use virtually any HO scale 4 wheel truck you'd like as well as couplers with draft boxes. These were designed using Kadee #500 HO trucks for the truck bolster height and Kadee #5 couplers with draft boxes. Shims/washers or bolster height trimming may be needed to get the proper wheel clearance and coupler height depending on what trucks you decide to use.

If you prefer, these are also designed to use the Kadee #107 HO scale Disconnect Log Trucks with couplers as their chassis with no modification to the truck necessary. All you would need to do is trim off the center truck bolster and the underframe will drop on the log disconnect truck (see the last pic).
