FPV RCD3016J Compact HDMI Micro / Mini to AV Converter
.....
UK STOCK - FREE SAME DAY 1ST CLASS SHIPPING
This handy little device converts a HDMI digital audio video (AV) input into an analogue AV output ready to use with traditional FPV equipment. The adapter is compact and easy to use. It also boasts a high conversion resolution - up to 1080p!
The device is very easy to install. It plugs directly into a mini HDMI socket or with the included adapter plug, it can be used with cameras that have a micro HDMI port. The converter outputs both video and audio. The wiring from the adapter is minimal as the converter is self-powered from your camera’s HDMI output. If you wish to save the camera battery life, you can provide an external 5v power supply to the converter.
The unit is compatible with most cameras, including the BMPCC (Black Magic), Panasonic GH3/GH4*, Sony, Canon, Nikon cameras, and others. It also supports both PAL and NTSC.
The adapter has applications beyond converting a camera's video output; it can convert other HDMI video sources too. For instance we've seen people use it for playing a computer based drone simulator with their actual goggles, by using the adapter to interface between the computers HDMI output and a 5.8Ghz video transmitter.
*For use with the GH4, go into the camera menu options and set 'System Frequency' to the 50.00Hz PAL, it doesn't work using 24.00Hz Cinema.
