Up for your consideration is this package of 100 Sagittaria lancifolia seeds with growing instructions. The common name for the plant is lance leaf arrowhead or bulltongue. These are fresh seeds grown by me in my greenhouse.  Sagittaria lancifolia is hardy in USDA zones 7 - 11 in the U.S. and can grow to about 24" tall. The seeds will need a 4 week long cold moist period (stratification) in a refrigerator before sowing, which easy to do and is explained in the detailed instruction that are included with each order. The seedlings will need to be grown under emersed conditions (roots in wet soil and leaves in the air).  Sagittaria lancifolia make great marginal plants for the outdoor pond but they can also be grown submerged in an aquarium where the plants will eventually develop aerial leaves, which can be very attractive and beneficial to aquarium health and balance.  Flowers, which are white and about 1-1/2" to 2" in diameter, bloom from June until the end of the season.  You will receive 100 fresh Sagittaria lancifolia seeds and one instruction sheet per order.

Orders for three or less seed packets will be shipped in a regular stamped envelope with no tracking. I ship them this way to keep the costs down for you. I will ship orders for 4 or more total packages of seeds in a USPS First Class package with tracking... so if you want tracking please order 4 or more packets of seeds (they can be the same or different varieties).  If you don't agree with this please do not purchase the seeds. I will also cancel all orders to a re-shipper. They do not function well with stamped envelopes. Thank you for understanding.

Please see my other listings for more aquatic plant seed varieties that I offer.  I've been growing aquatic plants for 50 years and I first sold aquatic plant seeds in the early 1980's through classified ads in popular aquarium magazines. Give aquatic seeds a try... it's a satisfying experience and science is fun! Thank you.
