This map is a genuine copper engraving of the Kingdom of Denmark in decorative colouring. The detailled map is further enriched by a beautiful figurative cartouche, several coats of arms and a milescale. It was published by Willem Janszoon Blaeu in 1640 and measures 42 x 52 cm (platesize). The map is in good condition. The centrefold has been backed with thin Japanese paper.
