The mosaic is 7" x 5" with finished tile sides. Please note: All of our mosaics in this series are unique pieces of art. If more than one item is offered, the hook you receive may not be the one actually pictured, however it will have all the components and be very close. The hook is a sturdy metal rod with a round knob. Hangs from a metal tab on the top of frame. See other mosaics in our "Dragonfly" series (wall plaques, trivets, accent balls, spheres and coasters) in our shop. Kathy's mosaics are not only beautifully designed and crafted; but, unusual in the fact that she actually makes all the tiles from scratch. After drawing her design and making a pattern, she hand cuts rolled out clay conforming to the pattern.. Each piece is laid out and numbered to aid in the final assembly. After the clay pieces dry, they go through a kiln bisque firing. They are then individually painted with glaze and fired again to vitrify (make glass like). Now, the tiles are ready to be incorporated into mosaic art.Because of all the steps involved, each project can take several weeks from beginning to end to complete |

All of our mosaics and tiles are suitable for outdoor use with care. They should not be left outdoors, exposed to the elements, in areas of the country that experience harsh winter weather with ice, snow and / or repeated freezing and thawing conditions. In order to make shipping more affordable, we combine shipping costs for articles purchased in our store at the same time. Request a quote or a combined invoice before paying.
