Two Vintage Shawnee Pottery Pieces - Toby Mug and Stars & Stripes Top Hat. These two pieces are in great condition. There are no chips or cracks on either one. There is some very light crazing here & there under the glaze - not much, but just enough to give it a nice vintage patina. The early American fella is enjoying his glass of ale at the local pub. The top hat is done in Shawnee's "Stars & Stripes" design. The Toby Mug stands 5 1/2" tall and is 4 1/2" across. The top hat measures 3 1/2" tall by 4 1/2" across. They are both marked, very faintly, on the bottom with Shawnee's U S A trademark. This is a great pairing of two of Shawnee's classic designs.
