Condition: These prints are new and in excellent condition. They have not been previously sold or owned by others.
Prints: A print is an original work of art and not a reproduction. Original fine art prints are multiple impressions of the same image, created in limited editions, with the direct involvement of the artist.
An Artist’s Proof and a Limited Edition print are not the same thing. Collectors give greater value to Artist's Proofs, as the series is very limited and are often difficult to obtain. Artist's Proofs are signed and numbered separately from the regular edition, and the letters "AP" are written beside the limited edition number. Both are available of this image.
About the Artist: Carol Theroux (1930-2021) was an internationally recognized artist working in traditional soft pastel, acrylics, oils, watercolor, and charcoal figurative painting. Her colors are bright and alive in her finished pastels, and are so seamless and smooth that it is hard to realize that it is done in the pastel medium.
