General Description: Orange is an evergreen tree with white flowers and recognisable, bright orange fruit. The oil is extremely popular and has the instantly recognisable smell of freshly peeled oranges. Compared to our Sweet Orange Oil, five fold orange oil goes through additional distillation to remove some terpenes. It is more concentrated, has a longer shelf life and is better suited to use in cosmetics. Our standard sweet orange is an excellent economical choice for fragrance applications. Botanical Family: Rutaceae

Commonly associated with: Antiseptic, Relaxing, Tonic, Astringent. Orange oil can help to maintain feelings of easy digestion and is a useful addition to post-exercise massage blends. It is used a great deal in fragrance and perfumery where its bright and cheerful aroma is great for alleviating stale smells and cigarette smoke. It is also often added to cleaning products both for its aroma and cleaning ability. Emotionally, orange oil is calming and cheering, promoting a feeling of happiness and warmth.

This means we cannot suggest that essential oils help, alleviate or cure any disease, disorder or medical condition, even very minor conditions like headaches, colds or congestion. This means that in the EU, essential oils cannot be licensed to make remedial claims in relation to a specific disease or adverse condition of the body of mind.
