A Vintage hand knotted "Tulu" (Turkish word for thick and soft piled wool rugs) rug from Konya in Central Anatolia, Turkey. These charming small rugs with simple designs and long lustrous wool pile were produced for daily use by villagers in Konya region of Central Anatolia until early 1970s. Today these decorative rugs are also considered collectible as each one is one of a kind and representing a diminishing form of textile and tribal art.
