for sale here is a very very good jw youngs built pattern no. 16A trout fly fishing reel , retailed by allcocks , 3 + 3/8ths , black erinoid handle  , single nickel silver screw drum release , twin checks , rim tensioner , full length and unfiled straight brass foot , winds excellent , tight and tidy with strong check , a particularly nice example , almost identical to the pattern 10B but with a red agate undamaged and excellent in nickel silver bezel , no line burns or damage at all.. lovely little reel..winds lovely and true as well...good strong check..all fully checked and serviced , particularly good little reel this one..most original paint intact as seen..please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week ...ref box 2

if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reel
obviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
