ENAMEL BOX

This is a spectacular large round hinged enamel produced in 1978 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the first aeroplane flight by the Wright Brothers.

It shows their craft, Flyer 1 on the lid and various other early aircraft around the base.

Inside lid states the details of the occasion with an outline design of the aircraft on the inside base.

This a substantial large round, hinged box measuring 2 1/2 inches, 6 cm across and 1.5 inch, 4 cm high.

Issued as part of a limited edition of 250, this is number 149.

This enamel is in excellent condition for its age, with no damage.
