Offering a new Fine Art quality archival pigment reprint of this Albert Arthur Allen photograph of nude women on the edge of a stream.  This is a high quality print, unframed, approximately 7.5x10" on 8.5x11" archival fine art paper, suitable for matting, framing and display.

Allen was a California photographer who photographed women nude in the twenties, when it was neither acceptable or legal. Because of that he offended the San Francisco bluenoses often and more than once was hauled before a judge. He believed sex appeal was "human appeal". "The true nude," he said, "gives a version of beauty both physical and spiritual - two great needs of humanity." One thing that gives his photos a unique antique look is the fact that he always had his models in twenties style bobbed coiffures.
