Parts usually need a little light sanding and/or filing in spots. Use as-is or prime and paint as you wish. Add your own details (ladders, brake wheels and gear, etc) for a very unique car.

Designed as a oil fuel car for HOn30 tank steamers, this cool little tender would look great behind any loco needing a little extra fuel capacity or as a portable water tank.

Trucks and couplers are NOT INCLUDED. Pics shown with the log truck is for illustrative purposes only.

Truck option #1- These 6' cars include an underframe designed to use the Micro-Trains #1197 N scale Disconnect Log Trucks with couplers as their chassis with no modification to the truck necessary.

Truck option #2- Since the MT Disconnect Log Trucks have become a bit pricey and hard to find, I've designed spots for body mounted couplers into the underframe and with the addition of a shim (styrene, plastic washer) glued to the center of the frame to get the proper wheel clearance, you can easily use almost any N scale freight truck you'd like. The coupler spots are designed to use Micro-Trains N scale preassembled couplers with draft boxes.
