This listing is for a Jaguar XJ/ XJS 4.09 PL LSD Salisbury differential. This is a popular ratio for racing as it is a short ratio. This is not a ratio commonly avalable. We build this diff from 2 core units. We built it with no spacers, no funny business, a used original CWP on a ramped 45/45 carrier. It will be supplied with a steel back cover but we can fit an aluminium one if prefered.

The diff has been fully stripped, cleaned and rebuilt using a used crown wheel and pinion. All the internal service parts have been replaced with top quality bearings and seals. We use a OEM bearing and seal kit. This is Timken throughout.

The power lock unit has been disassembled and checked for wear. If parts are worn they have been replaced. This diff is built with a traditional 45/45 ramp angle but we can build with our 45/80 ramp angles. Please ask.

The differential can be fitted to other models of Jaguar, if you plan to install in an Etype you may need the later Girling brakes which we stock.

THIS CAN BE SUPPLIED AS A SPEEDO DRIVE UNIT, PLEASE ASK IF YOU NEED IT.

WE HAVE OTHER RATIOS IN STOCK, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO GET IN CONTACT.

All custom diffs are built to order. There is approximately a 10-15 day dispatch time to allow for this.
