The coins have the shape of a circle, with a protruding edging along the circumference on the obverse and reverse sides. The side surface of the coins is corrugated.

Obverse
at the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center - a relief image of the Order of Victory (on silver - with red and blue enamel); under it are indicated: the year of minting, for silver - the fineness of the alloy; around the circle there are inscriptions: in the upper part - "RESPUBLIKA BELARUS", in the lower - "ПЯЦЬДЗЕСЯТ РУБЛЁЎ" in silver and "ADZIN RUBEL" - in copper-nickel.

Reverse
in the center - a star, towards which three stylized arrows are directed, forming sectors: in the upper - a developing banner, in the left - a laurel branch and an inscription in two lines "60 YEAR", in the right - salute; a moiré ribbon passes through the field of the coin, uniting the sectors.
